Gynecomastia Reduction

Diet

Obesity is one of the many causes of gynecomastia. Most people think that when your overweight, your body produces the fat that sits on top of your chest. This is correct, but not in the way you probably think. Fat in your body causes it to produce more estrogen which produces fatty tissue over your pecs that are very similar to that of a woman. Adopting a healthier diet is a way to solve obesity. You should focus on putting your body in a calorie deficit so it burns the fat off your body for its energy. Don’t eat right before you go to bed because the food you eat usually doesn’t get burned and is converted into fat. Eat smaller and more frequent meals (5 per day). This will train your body to burn its energy at a faster rate.

Exercise

Cardiovascular exercises will burn the fats the sitting on top of your chest . When you exercise, you should have your heart rate reach a fat burning level. Everybody has a unique fat burning heart rate for their individual body and there are numerous resources on the internet to find what yours is. Whatever cardio activity you choose, whether its running, rowing, or using an elliptical machine, be sure that you realistically can do this 4 times per week for about 30 minutes each time. Consistency is paramount in you losing your boobs.

Important Points To Note

Although dieting and exercise are extremely important in gynecomastia reduction, if you don’t address your hormonal imbalance, they can only do so much. Man boobs that stem from gynecomastia are very similar to a woman’s breasts which means you can’t fully exercise them off without balancing your hormones. There are programs that provide ways for your body to produce more testosterone and less estrogen. When coupled with a proper training regime for your chest, its a realistic way to lose your boobs without surgery.
